Choral and Orchestral Conductor, Tenor, Musicologist
"Conductor Cole Bendall was excellently in command of proceedings..."
"[Cole Bendall] melded the voices into a harmonious whole; articulate, with clarity of diction and a clear understanding of the sentiment of the music and words."
"Cole Bendall’s direction was very impressive, keeping the music flowing but allowing enough room for the individual parts to come through clearly."
Edinburgh Music Review
"Cole Bendall leads an enthusiastic team, for the Reid Consort is dedicated to the development of aspiring professional choral singers in central Scotland. It is a privilege for me to watch its progress. Sixty minutes seemed a very short time as they sung Lagrime di San Pietro with such finesse."
Events are slowly returning as the musical world slowly emerges from the pandemic. I offer solidarity to my colleagues who are continuing to have to struggle to ensure that music making can continue safely in their communities.
In addition to ongoing education work for a range of organisations, I am in the final stages of my doctoral thesis write up - consequently, it is unlikely that I will be available for offers of work until around Autumn 2021. However, my e-mail remains open - feel free to discuss your requirements and we may be able to make your project work!
